BS. All the experts have said there was never any military solution to fixing Iraq after the initial invasion. Listen to any retired general. Invading a third world country is easy for the biggest military on earth. But fixing what is broken has almost nothing to do with the military, and it takes enormous pre-planning and a huge amount of international help and cooperation, including and especially, using the UN. One of the grossest blunders the Bushies made was demonizing the UN to keep them out of Iraq. And why did they do that? To keep anyone but themselves from gettign a dime of oil money. That's all it was about to Bushies. Oil money, plus dishonestly using the war to scare people into re-electing them. You really need to quit supporting these crooks. They are the worst we've ever seen in this country. And though McCain is a halfway honest man, he's just plain wrong for supporting Bush on Iraq. And the Surge is really just a large bandaid on a hemmoraging mortal wound. It slows the bleeding that's all. We need to get the H out of there. But of course that's not easy anymore. Still it has to be done and the sooner the better.
