He also got hurt as a result of the media treatment Hillary received, the ganging up she suffered on the debate and then Edward's comment about emotions which made her a substantially more sympathetic figure. And the theme of the treatment was a perfect fit for attentive women voters because she was unfairly maligned on the basis of feminine characteristics that are unattractive in males but well understood as normal and acceptable by women." A significant number of women probably recalled suffering similar themes of gender based resistance from powerful men."

That last sentence meant something to me. My professional work was done from the middle fifties until nineteen eighty five

This was a time when Gloria Steinem and other's were
vigorously championing women's rights. There were many books on the subject and the famous names of those writers now
escape me as my memory is not as keen.

However, there was no such thing as sexual harassment..
I have many stories about that which make for interesting telling.

Once a person has gone through the experiences that I have and I don't believe that many women posting her have one might
better understand why I support Hillary first and Obama second.

It's a woman's thing. That's all I can say. I will not be upset if Hillary loses to Obama and if that is the only way we can get the White House I will be overjoyed. However...
tears... How many woman who worked professional suffered indignation at many work place occurrences and cried at night.
The struggle and then to be feeling unappreciated. That's what does it.
