We must be nearly the same generation, because I know exactly what you're talking about. Now I see my daughters free to select any occupation, eagerly courted with employment offers, and moving through their careers with complete confidence that nothing stands in their way. Likewise with the daughters of my friends. Wonderful and amazing and all done in one generation. In fact, when I see these young, arrogant right-wing females dissing democrats on Fox News, I want to brand their behinds with the letters NOW to remind them how the heck they got where they are.
