One of the ideas of POTQ is to bring stocks to other people's attention. And to pick stocks.

Everyone knows that picking broad different indices with low fees beats the averages of actively managed mutual funds, over time. Look at our average over the last few games since Elroy's been measuring it.

This game winds up with some up 35% or so and some down that much or worse. It's not real money so you can do things you might not do with real money.

Why should we allow someone to win when all they do is take the snap and fall to the ground?

The winner should have to run or pass or throw a Hail Mary, and pick stocks to do it. And also, IMO, not hold all cash for the whole game or even 50% cash for the whole game, if Elroy or anyone can measure or catch this.

The current rules are OK with me. There were 139 Nasdaq and 39 NYSE stocks that hit new lows of <$5 today. In this market especially, we should not have a $5 minimum for longs IMO.

Let someone take a shot or two or three.
