Los Angeles County Extends Contract with Health Management Systems biz.yahoo.com Thursday January 10, 9:36 am ET NEW YORK, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The County of Los Angeles Office of Managed Care has extended its current contract with Health Management Systems, Inc. (HMS) to maintain county public health and managed care information systems. Under the contract, HMS will continue to provide proprietary software solutions and data management services to the county's Office of Managed Care (OMC) through 2009.
