Thank for the post, I personally like to share some thought that make sense to this thread.
Syquest has asked for incentive stock plan for employees which definitely show positive hint to our thread. The insiders know better than us and if they know no hope for the company then the stock option plan won't worth anything.
Back in late June, I was a one day trader to buy and sell SYQT because of announcement of better result revenue. Later on in late August, my husband bought SyJet because he need to have more storage room for his computer and installed and work excellent. That why I started to invest into SYQT. I bought at 2 5/8 for 23,000 shares and sold 6,000 shares for 3 and bought some more back at 2 3/4 because I knew SYQT won't have any earning release until December(correct me if I'm not right). But one thing I am sure is that Syquest will be the run up company. So on 10/10, I have been struggling to decide to buy more and jump in and bought 10,000 share more at 4 9/32. And I am sure I won't sell it because this is not going to be have chance to buy back anymore.
I always invested into the company with my own research and check on the market trend. And figure out Syqest will be the big winner, and IOM is struggling to sell its products so that it have dropped its zip drive price to fool its shareholders for its revenue growth. But now the market competition is not in 100meg drive any longer. People will demand more storage like 1GB or 1.5GB. I understand IOM will lose its war ground on Jez drive. No matter whether Syquest will make money or not in the short period is not big issue. But whether people will like its product is important to know.

Hope this information will give those shorter some advice.
