I doubt seriously that Edwards would accept the VP slot to either Obama or Clinton, and I doubt either would ask. Edwards has expressed the frustrations of being the VP to Kerry's candidacy; he is running for P, not VP. Obama or Clinton, whoever the candidate turns out to be, will probably go to the center in a VP selection for the nat'l election, and Edwards is to the "left" of both. I noticed that during Obama's non-concession speech on Tuesday night (which was a truly great speech) he moved in on Edwards territory, emphasizing more than usual a desire to take on corporate interests, as did Clinton, though her speech was hardly as inspiring.
