Liberal elitists will never tax themselves or otherwise force themselves to sacrifice beyond their level of comfort. They've already made theirs. You saying it doesn't make it true. Have Dems ever raised taxes? How else do you think Arianna Huffington pays fewer income taxes than the average Californian, for instance? The Bush tax cuts. It is obvious to me that the policies of the liberal elite will ensure that the liberal elite remains an exclusive club, and that the rest of society will forever be dependent on their handouts. That's because you listen to Rush. How you and Rush expect that to happen is beyond me. Explain. You could probably argue something similar with regard to conservative elitists, but at least you know what they believe. Yeah, they believe in corporate profits over payrolls. And they are the "elitists" that are in power. You think corporate America is controlled by the Dems? You think Abramoff (sp?) and all the other crooked lobbyists were Dems? Come on man... P.S. - If this is still "inscrutable" to you, then just answer for me how George Soros can get away (morally) with spending millions on his pet 527 even after pushing for campaign finance reform. Oh I see, "hypocrisy is the only sin", right? Where did I hear that? Soros, like anybody else, plays by the rules as they are, not as they wish them to be. If Soros was a Republican you would love his ass.
