Slide 6. Last 200mm wafer out of Fab30 November '07. Fab38 (new name for Fab30 after 300mm conversion) transition to 300mm on track for '09.

On the same slide it says..."Initial 300mm tools in FAB 38 and complementing FAB 36 production" I read this to imply that some production would come from FAB 38 and that it would ramp through 2008 and be complete by 2009... Is that not the case?

Also, I think you may have misinterpretted my comment about "levelling the playing field". I was not referring to anything which might be in the AMD suit. I was referring to the fact that by forcing Intel to continue to lower prices by stealing sales, Intel would have less money to fund R&D and would impact the economies of scale that Intel has enjoyed historically...

Do you think this is an honest statement?
I'm not in a position to know, but, "pilot lines running today (December)" sounds to me like this was the expectation at the time. We'll know more after the CC...
