The way it was presented to me was that since I have been to some extent privy to information disclosed through the discovery process, which is not in the realm of public information I am not supposed to discuss it, or buy or sell more shares. I dont know that I agree with it as officers of the defendant companies buy and sell shares in their stock all the time and they are certainly privy to information not in the public domain but I also know that judges can be pretty sensitive, so im listening to counsel and not talking any specifics. But I certainly feel that I can point out where information in the public domain is available.
