Now that VVUS is at 36, how many shorts do you feel are still out there? I hope we still have some squeeze pressure at the end of the week.

This has been a education for me. I went through what I thought were the TA items normally discussed on our thread and everybody pointed to buy. Anyhow, I am holding some Oct 37.5 and 40 calls and my lesson from all this is that in highly volatile announcement days I should back my short term calls with at least some low priced puts (like you did). I notice you also have some short calls. Are you going to ride this pony to the finish line and hope for a dramatic short squeeze on settlement day (or chicken out as soon as it goes in the money <gg>)?

Incidentally, I noted that Zacks has VVUS as a buy and the people on the VVUS thread are reporting that Bloomberg news just reported that Crutindon & Roth (Whoyle Fayemi) INITIATED coverage today on VVUS with a BUY rating. Genisis Merchant also reiterated a BUY
