Surprised to be seeing Liz Claiborne [t]LIZ[/t] sinking so quickly and so deeply. So severe imo, it almost seems like people have come to believe their business model is in jeopardy. Maybe it is, as they sell off some of their brands. Maybe too, it's possible that rather than clothes being a required fashion statement for kids now, it is electronic things like the latest iPods/phones.

I'll chance that LIZ's p/bk will revert to historical average at some point, and I'll up my LIZ shares a little now.

And regarding Tiffany [t]TIF[/t], I'll up my stub position now too. Here I am presuming that their franchise is still intact, they have product offerings that still attract a growing upscale market, and that the stock will consequently trade sometime again at a 20 p/e.
