Her brain was half the normal size. She had irreversible major brain damage and was blind. That said she also moved, responded to sound, smiled and laughed. How much did she understand? We don't really know.

She took 13 days to die of dehydration. Try going without any fluids for 13 days. Tell me that is compassionate and dignified.
