None of what you said below has anything to do with the point I was making in my last post to you. What you said was that having money doesn't give you more influence. That is about as naive and childlike a statement I've heard in a while. You particularly don't have an excuse for being this naive if for no other reason than you've posted on this thread for the past 5+ years. During that time, there have been innumerable complaints voiced in articles about lobbyists who represent wealthy interests....showing how they get laws passed that benefit them and their wealthy clients. In fact, there have been wealthy men who attest to the power of their wealthy peers when it comes to influencing the gov't.

And yet, you have the whatever to make such bizarre statement......"the rich are no different than the rest of us"......."they don't get special treatment"....."they have no more influence than we do". Its beyond me how you could make such a claim given the mountain of evidence that says otherwise.

Ted, you're living proof that no matter how much the Republicans spend, for instance, you'll never turn into a conservative.

Are you afraid that not everyone in America is as strong in his or her beliefs as you are? Think that warrants ripping up the 1st amendment just to "level the playing field"?

While you're at it, you should also explain how many viewpoints and how many political parties ought to be given "equal time" and who gets to decide.

Try to actually defend your view for once, rather than join JF and your fellow liberals in condescension.
