well my understanding is lying under oath is something you can be prosecuted for, but lying as an OFFICER OF THE COURT, which is what these white collar prosecutors do constantly for a living is some kind of higher level offense, and I haven't heard of any of them being prosecuted except for Nifong the Duke case DA who was disbarred. And he isn't behind bars.

There is a level of common sense that seems to be omitted with the criminal justice system. Unless you think lying about sex deserves criminal prosecution, or Marion Jones deserves to be behind bars, when she is obviously just a pawn in a system that was pushing steroids on young athletes especially olympians which were mostly amateurs. Maybe the Clinton impeachment started this I don't know.
