John: I saw the unveiling on 'Nightline.' Actually, as soon as the segment started, I hit the record key on my DVD recorder so I could watch it later. I groaned when I watched the segment. All I could think of was all the additional fossil fuel these pocket-change cars will require, no matter how good their fuel economy. The segment did say that if one car takes two or three scooters off the road, it will decrease traffic congestion and have a positive environmental impact. I'm going away for a few days this morning. When I get back (Wednesday night), I shall watch the episode again and write what was not mentioned in print versions of the unveiling. Although the chairman of Tata Motors says there is no interest in exporting it to the U.S.A. (because we like luxaries in our cars), I can see people here buying one as a second car to do around town driving. Regards, Lynn
