This relates to the triage aspect of the Canadian healthcare plan you mention later - we're doing it now, it just isn't as obvious.

While in physician waiting rooms, I've had occasion to overhear phone conversations between the desk and an apparent Medicaid patient where the patient was told that the next available Medicaid appointment was at some future date way beyond what I had to wait.

On a personal note, as of this month Medicare has become my primary payer. I just can't wait to see how that works. :/

I used Dell service last week and chatted with Gopal Krishnan. Don't know if that's a policy change or some fluke. It surprised me so much I didn't think to ask him.
