I have to agree with you. I do think there will be some news, even if it's just from the Company saying they "know of no reason" for the increase in volume and stock price. If they do say that, I would be willing to sell at 10, since that would indicate to me that the stock is moving up on speculation (even if it's institutional speculation, as you believe).

If there is other news, we'll all know about it and it should be fairly clear what the deal is and the price point, unless there's a bidding war (pretty unlikely at this point in my opinion, especially if an offer was turned down before at 15). That would be the time to sell, unless the new stock/acquiring stock looked attractive. If it's CUC (HFS/Cendant) which just had a very favorable write-up in Fortune, I'd be inclined to hold it (any thoughts on that?).

Sure wish I still had those calls :-(
