People voted for her who didn't tell pollsters that they would. And they kept it to themselves even after they had done so.

Interesting comment follows that article:

And women were being questioned in these polls in front of whom? In the exit polls, it was very likely in front of their husbands. Phone polls are subject to the same problem. It may not be so much deliberate lying to pollsters as deliberate concealment from husbands/associates who were likely to pour scorn, or to betray the choice to people who would.
