To all XLNX's posters, any of you know about GATE beating out XLNX on 4 design wins recently? On the GATE (Newly named, was Zycad) conference call, the new GATE CEO stated clearly that GATE beat out XLNX on an 4 separate orders - where the GATE FPGA tested faster than XLNX's best and fastest FPGA. I've always respected XLNX, but people have been saying that ALTR is surpassing XLNX and now you have this little upstart showing signs of life. I am a GATE shareholder as of very recently, because I think they've got a great story that's finally happening - with evidence to support that. I'm looking for the devil's advocate view. Anybody got one? Maybe XLNX should look to buy GATE so they can have a technological edge over ALTR. Is David (GATE) going to slay (Steal more business) from XLNX-Goliath? Looks like it's more real than you might want to believe.
