Steve, I know I can count on a message from you every three months or so whenever ECSC quarterly report is due. And, as always, great to hear from you. I'll look into Cistron, which I've heard of but no more than that. I will investigate. Golds have been hurt by fall in POG (price of Gold), but I'm still ahead (slightly) on my six metal explorers (NVE, EMG and SPC on Vancouver and SAS, ME and BAN on Toronto). I'd really urge you to take a look at the NVE thread, some pretty savvy people there who believe that NVE may be "onto something big". But my strongest performers have been the telecom's, particularly Worldcom, Winstar, and Dialogic. And a newcomer to my telecom portfolio with real upside potential (not yet been run up) is Larscom (LARS). Other than the Canadians I'm mostly out of penny stocks, except for NRID and EDIS, both of which have some potential. And, for an oil play take a look at XCL (which I'm not in at the moment), which is trading down a bit since its run up on news of the big Chinese oil strike two weeks ago. XCL may always be a penny stock because of its 275 million shares outstanding! Thanks again, Steve, and take care. Bill. |
