Wayne, Ed Miller's book, getting started in Hold Em, has less than 40 pages on no limit. But it is all short stack play. He and Sklansky believe that a disciplined short stack player can beat nearly any cash game in the world, assuming he isn't underfunded. Rolf Slotboom's great book on Pot Limit Omaha uses nearly the same exact strategy for that game. I'm pretty disciplined, so I'm doing well with it at both games.

You can fund Poker Stars and Full Tilt with either Money Grams or EChecks. Poker Stars will also accept a money order, though it takes forever. The bonuses aren't as good any more, but PS has a recurring rewards program based upon rakes. If you earn $5000 in Frequent Player Points, which are just raked
dollars at any table you play, they pay you $50. However, if you earn $1500 in FPPs in one month, your future rakes count as $1.50 for each $1. If you earn $4000 in rakes in one month, they start accumulating at $2 for each $. I am usually working at the 1500 level, though I once made 4000 and hit that gold level temporarily.

As you know, UB pays so many bonuses that they may as well have a recurring program.

I have found that I earn UB bonuses and PS rewards at just about the same pace. Of course, a PS reload bonus earns much faster.
