EFJ, Inc. Lowers Guidance for 2007

Company on Track with Previously Announced Organizational Plan; Staff Cuts Expected to Total 18% of Workforce
IRVING, Texas, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EFJ, Inc. (Nasdaq: EFJI - News) announced today that it expects revenues to be between $153 and $156 million compared to its October 2007 estimate of $160 million to $170 million. The Company expects to post a larger operating loss for 2007 than its October forecast of an operating income of $1 million to a loss of $2 million. The lowered guidance is due to shipment delays in its EFJohnson unit in late December. |
