That is a lie, Jim.

I (unlike a couple of other persons on this thread who occasionally have...) have NEVER 'advocated' turning the Middle East into "nuclear rubble and glass".

Not by ANY MEANS.

You are simply MAKING that particular canard up OUT OF WHOLE CLOTH.

(On the other-hand, I have argued that a Shia/Sunni Saudi/Iranian regional conflict fought over the bones of that artificial nation called 'Iraq' would most likely play out to the long-term benefit of America and the West in general... and might even advance the process of an Islamic Reformation, and the advancement of the forces of moderation and rule of law in civil societies throughout the Islamic world.)

And... would likely REDUCE world oil prices for a period... exactly as happened the LAST TIME Iraq and Iran fought.

This, however, in NO WAY implies that I am 'calling for the nuclear destruction of the Middle East'.

THAT, would simply be a LIE. (And, a most obvious and bad one, at that. <GGG>)
