Teletek discontinued their involvement in the calling
card business as of Jan 1, 1996. Too competitive, and besides it
didn't make sense because they were competing with their own customers.

Teletek's main rapidly growing business is in the niche
area of providing low cost international services for businesses that deal
with a small number of countries. For example, a company may do
most of their business with sites in Malaysia, so they set up a package for
that company optimized for communications with Malaysia. Teletek also sells
domestic services to businesses within the U.S. Some of these companies may
in turn sell debit cards to end customers. Also, to clear up something else,
Teletek told me Monsanto is not a customer of Teletek... and they don't know how
that rumor got started.
