Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

I just sold the vast majority of my ... no, phuck it, shoot the prisoners and don't ask any questions at all ... I just sold all of my HK-based certificate gold, in exchange firstly to HKD, as I am unable to decide at this juncture whether to stay put or run toward any of the non-USD fiat monies.

This move, together with last night's major drawdown Message 24216177 of GLD in exchange for PSPT, all of a sudden and quite unexpectedly makes me a technology investor, ostensibly, but actually and not so quietly transforms me from a gold hoarding bug into a human serf owner, staking a claim on warm bodies who perform useful functions for your countrymen but from lovely Philippines via telecommunication links in exchange for pittance derived off of savings by laying off white collar serf workers within the Empire.
I still have some GLD and SLV stashed and only accessible during your daytime, but am otherwise mostly out, except of course for the long term private central bank anchors that are physical platinum and gold.

So far, since November, my zigs from non-USD cash and miscellaneous shares to USD/HKD, zags from USD/HKD into paper and physical gold and sugar, gas, cotton, and such, and gyrations just now out of paper gold into PSPT and boring steel processor have generated measurable but perhaps not exactly productive wealth.

All made possible by tapping into frictional heat of the market place.

We will have to see how the foray into PSPT turns out.

About PSPT finance.yahoo.com I am of course figuring that the new and last week announced offer to buy the company trumps the earlier announced but rejected offer of USD 15. Maybe yes, perhaps not, but we shall see.

Besides, it is a good company and somewhat recession-proof, or, in reality, recession-enhanced.

Chugs, TJ
