Bobs, iirc that slide shows sampling dates. Spansion never discloses full data of samples. Still I haven't heard of Eclipse sampling. I expect analysts to question the status of the product during the earnings CC. It takes about 6 months from sampling to production start, then 3 months to volume availability (even though wafer in to wafer out only takes about half that latter time). Spansion is expecting unprecedented penetration of 65nm because of the range of products introed at 65nm is bigger than ever before, plus the 65nm volume ramp (300mm new fab + fab 25 + fab25) is way faster than they ever did previously. So 65nm products will penetrate the market faster than all volume from all previous nodes. Regards, Rink.
