Good luck to you. I don't do options but read about many folks doing best writing covered calls. Back in the early 1970's when I was starting out in this game a broker talked me into buying naked calls. That experience ended up being so painful that I still don't do options <ggg>. I just ran a ten year chart on Dell and see that it is almost back to 2000 and 2006 levels where it traded below 20. Lots of quality tech issues just getting killed. I wonder how many 'buy and hold' types are even left in these stocks, so many like AMAT, DELL, INTC, and others going absolutely nowhere (unless you trade the spikes) in many years...

Regards,
John

PS - That said, Dell starting to look like HPQ back when it was beaten up, low P/S and big cash position, although I suppose that will go down if they execute the stock buyback in a major way this year....
