Understand

Rough numbers....

CERA is stating a 4.7% depletion number in the their latest report.

So 2008 demand at 88.8 million bbls/day

2007 supply at 85.5 million bbls/day (or 81.5 at the end of 2008 with depletion).

All things being equal how does the industry bridge the difference with a 4.7% depletion number?

7.3 million bbls of new supply? then again in 2009 and again 2010.

Does any sane person really believe this is going to happen at current prices?
