I don't remember seeing this story last month. My apology if it's a duplicate... Ian.

Last 2 paragraphs are:

The P-GILD system was originally developed at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (Livermore, CA), and about three years ago Ultratech Stepper entered a joint development effort with Sematech (Austin, TX) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Washington, DC). The company now has exclusive rights for commercial development of the technology.

Currently, Ultratech has two industrial partners, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard, which are actively pursuing the technology in an R&D environment and are producing devices with it, Williams said. The company has also formed an independent subsidiary, Verdant Technologies, to develop, market, and sell the P-GILD systems. Williams expects to be selling a couple of hundred systems annually within the next four to five years. The price of each system is in the neighborhood of $4 million to $6 million.--HJ-B

Now let's see, how much is 200 * $5M anyway? ... and what might that do to UTEK's share price. ... and how many V2000s might Ultrabeam sell?

Ian.
