The guys over at AAPL are all gaga over the Mac 'Air'. It's a beautiful machine, but doesn't even have an ethernet port you can use without a dongle and one USB port. With an external optical drive it costs almost 2k for the base model, and has a 'sealed' battery you can't get at on your own. Dell sells the M1330 base model for about half the price, and it weighs less than a pound more. Too bad you can't get it without Vista <ggg>... Of course, I gotta put in that little dig that buy and hold in techs 'don't look so good right now'...
