I stopped at a McDonalds the other day and they had moved the speaker. I didn't see the speaker so since I was the only one in line I drove to the take order/pay window. Girl wouldn't take my order, had to drive around the building and tell her over the speaker. Reason for that is at some McDonalds, the order taker is at an off-site call center (Bombay?) and the order is transmitted to the store electronically. boston.com
