Yes, I have an 86 watt panel on my 25' power boat, charging a large deep cycle marine battery. This gives plenty of power for all "house" needs except those directly tied into the engine i.e. the panel powers lights, fans including continuous duty composting toilet fan, radio, etc. but not engine starting and serious instruments. The system is "plug and go", and needed no knowledge or prior experience. It has been maintenance free, and includes a regulator, rectifier and meter. I probably could run a small fridge, but have not bothered (well insulated ice box is easier). This sort of setup should be off the shelf at any local dealer.

Regards, Tony.
