Mark.. MPA is going places.. The URL for Masterpiece Games and ICE are planned to move. Yasser's plans for the future development of the Master Games Network web site are progressing smoothly. By working with established Internet companies, MPA plans to establish a premier network for experienced players, both registered and amatuers, and events to host their play. The difference between the "competition" and the Master Games Network is one of emphasis.. The former are concentrated upon building thier own proprietary game sites. Chess and other strategic games are adjunct to their goals. MPA is devoted to promoting the game of chess - which it does not have to reinvent - on the net. Thus meeting demand for a premier chess site replete with everything needed to play the game, tutorials to learn the game, informative content and news about current competitions, and the sponsorship of "Olympic" chess events to recieve world wide media coverage (like the Kasparov vs. Deep Blue match) with many chess aficionados going to the MGN to watch and witness the events.
