The Dems need to collectively figure out how to collectively blame any attacks on Bush's invasion and occupation of Iraq. That would make sense as that actually makes sense.

Instead, they keep waiting for another shoe to fall and blame to fall on those not out to make the USA into an armed camp. If the average person on the street clearly understood that USA meddling in the ME is the cause of attacks and not the answer to attacks, the Dems would be free to hit each other over the head on more important issues like health care and the economy.

As it is, this kind of squabbling plays into the hands of the crazy militaristic xenophobics.
