I finally went to the doctor late this afternoon. He took one look at it and said it was extremely severe. Put me on hugh horse pills of antibiotic, gave me a tetanus and said it it too close to my faux knee to risk the kind of infection I can get from a cat bite and if it turns red or I get chills and a fever in the next couple of days I am to come to the office immediately. My leg is so sore. But don't worry, Gidget is fine. I seem to be an accident waiting to happen lately.
