Because unlike you, I don't hide behind the notion that I'm a "moderate." I'm proud to admit what I believe in, no matter how much you try and twist my beliefs around for your own benefit. You know I may have considered myself a moderate 4-5 years ago, but not anymore. Things have spiraled out of control in that time and on most issues I support some pretty drastic action, especially energy. I suppose from that perspective you are much more moderate than I am because you always seem pretty satisfied or at least resigned to the status quo. But I still do consider myself an independent. I would really like to vote for Obama but I just couldn't bring myself to register Dem and align with a political party. On balance the Dems and the Reps both suck... but the Reps suck much worse.
