Gotcha Rush,

For my industry, getting to a "negotiated Contract" stage with a major GC is tantamount to being in the catbird seat.

Another angle that has been touched on here but not fully explored is the impact of the "Greenies" on every industry. As I read it this could be the biggest step for the large manufactures to be able to claim "Green" processing throughout the supply chain. One of the hindrances to this claim is that they can't get their suppliers to join them in changing the manufacturing process therefore the claim at the end process is hollow at best. In other words, the goal is to be able to claim environmentally friendly processes for every part and piece not just the final assembly.

This could be the hit we've been waiting for.
