Guys, first time poster, long time reader of these boards. I have been in and out of ACII for a couple years, waiting patiently like the rest of you. After all the buildup the last couple months, I would hope we are beyond the meaningless PR's and moving towards some real info from this company. To me, this one takes the cake. EDI has been the standard format for the larger companies for years now. It allows everything to be done through data transmission, which makes everything in real time, PO's, payments, etc. To imply that this puts them on this golden list of vendors, in my opinion, is being a little arrogant. I wouldn't be surprised if one or all of them require all of their vendors to be EDI, because it eliminates the need to pay clerks to go through the mail/fax machine/AP checks, etc. When are we going to get some meaningful news out of this company?
