I just hope we have another choice Paul. I'm not convinced that McCain can win the 08 election. He is on the side of the left on too many things. Thompson would be a good President. I don't think he currently has the funds to continue too much farther.

Isn't it the total "pits" that the head of our Country has to be a millionaire several times over to even get into the line to run....?

As far as a decent man....GWB has been, and remains, a good and decent man. Where did that get him politically? The left has trashed him for NO reason even before he ran for office....(if you doubt that, go to advanced search 1999, and just see what some on the left were saying ....way before the election....

Even today, we hear all over the place, mostly from MSM, but others say it too....GWB hasn't been a good President, and all sorts of other negatives....and yet.....when I ask someone about that, and to list 5 "terrible" things HE did....they can't even tell me one. He has tried to be a mediator to both sides, and that hasn't served us well, although it should have. The Dems, and some Repubs, have run right over him, every chance they got. He's been "too" nice, if anything. IMO of course.
