Hi Alphonse,

<Might I interest you in a short position in this stock?>

Nope. I'm convinced that earnings will come in well above estimates.
Analysists that have been nothing but down on Novell are starting to change their tune.

The news and commentary comming out of the company has a totally different flavor than it did even two months ago. There is a confidence and unity that has been lacking until recently.

I need to take some time off from trading for awhile to get a house I'm building weather proof. I'm comfortable with my last entry point and don't believe a few fractions one way or the other will make much difference in a month or so.

A lot is riding on this quarter. If earnings meet my expectations everything for the next 2 years will be revised upward and the stock price will move accordingly. I wouldn't want to be short the week before Thanksgiving and wouldn't be a bit surprized at some resistance breaking movement between now and then. Short term will probably see it drift down some and form a new support level. If I were short right now I would be picking a target price and getting ready to cover. If I'd taken some profit on Friday, I'd probably already be back in. Since the MMs were playing Mickey Mouse with the spreads on Friday, I decided not to play. It isn't worth trading a 9 dollar stock when the spread gets over 1/32.

Regards,

Don
