Hi S,

I have communicated with many of them via SI on varying intervals depending on who you speak of. I always enjoy talking to B or rather Mullholland Drive.

The person I've physically seen the most from SI since then has been Michael Burke who was not on the piffer trips but knows many folks on SI.

I was over at his office "in the bunker" -g- at SSB back in 2002 or so, in the very nifty Houston Galleria area SkyScraper the Williams Tower. (very cool building) and I know he came by my office in Greenway Plaza to assist in weeding our way through an overly complicated automatic system presentation by a Guy. Michael was generous enough to wade through what I felt was an overly ciruitous and self-serving curve fitting presentation.

We also had a lunch with same said recalcitrant CEO, that you alluded to and I spoke of.

I would not mind seeing Kirk again. Real nice guy and it seems we were smoking stogies at the Betty Boop Bar the afternoon when you and I first met.

Many of the people I know on SI are very hansomely spread out across the US and especially on the West Coast, The currently frozen north tundra of Minn. and Wisconson, The east coast and down to Florida.

I'm experiencing a sense of Wanderlust for something radically different geographically. Although, there are many things I really enjoy in Houston and Texas.

John
