Well, they may NOT make enough money, or at least what they want. BUT, when folks are complaining about that, I tell them to remember they knew that when they chose that career path. Social work doesn't as a rule pay well. I reminded a young man of that yesterday....He's deciding what he wants to do job wise, college wise, etc...likes the "touchee feelee" part of social work, but I told him to think about that long and hard. I noticed his clothes and shoes, and they definitely weren't from the local thrift shop.....

Ahhhh, idealistic youth.

But then when they grow up, and have a family, they gripe and complain about the 'haves' and what they themselves, have not.
