"Bull shit has a distinct smell, doesn't it?"
Doesn't it?
The math seems to be very basic, just arithmetic. Given its usefulness on a farm, I'd expect at least some trig.
Much of the rest of it isn't all that tough given that presumably the material was covered. Now true, some of that stuff is no longer taught, like the orthography. But it seems like other stuff that is taught now, like literature, wasn't taught then. Or world history, all of the history seems to be restricted to US history. And not much in the way of science.
So, other than the odd question about the boards, this could actually be real. But, if so, it doesn't strike me as a particularly good education. If you realize that there is a lot that apparently wasn't covered, like literature, world history and science, that means there was plenty of time to dive into areas that are no longer taught, like orthography. |
