I'm thinking long term, not a trade. Buy a bunch and stick it away out of site. If they survive then in 10 years it will probably be trading at $30+ and be paying a 4% dividend, which would be a 12% yearly return on your invested dollars.

They will survive....either as a stand alone or merged with someone else. They are the largest savings and loan in the country and one of the largest banks. Plus, they have an excellent deposit base.......most of the West Coast, Chicago, and they have been expanding significantly in the east. Long term you won't go along. I am most upset because Seattle may lose them as a headquarters.
