In science books, I can see presenting different views. Heck, from the Physics and Astronomy studies my husband does as a hobby, albeit a serious one, there are MANY MANY different theories..... and should be considered just as theories, not documented, proven fact.

With American History, it should be pretty straight forward....BUT as you know, we are seeing "straight facts" sometimes converted into the most convoluted slants that can be imagined. About the only things we can believe are ACTUAL, UNEDITED videos of a particular event...Way to many people are hellbent on distorting whatever event we are experiencing. And some of those distortions are what is filtering into our classrooms.
