Ted: I think there is some concern.

There was never a question that the LACC process could handle breaking chips. There are videos that prove it does. That being said, there has never been a video (or a contract) that shows LACC handling high volume with a quick turn-around time. Being that they were supposed to have a large order four years ago that they planned to do at APM (which never materialized), one would think the process would work with high volumes. Four years later, still no large orders, I would say there has got to be some concern about the process being able to handle it. Maybe some are not worried, but until there is proof that they can handle volume, I don't think you'll see many new long-term investors jumping on board.

Remember, they are also trying to sell the process via licensing agreement. This is how the Ford deal would work out. They had trials at the Ford plant in Sharonville about 3 - 4 years ago and they are still not a large volume customer that we know of. Is it red tape and union resistance holding it up? Is it the re-tooling that Ford has done at that plant twice in the last four years? Or is it the process couldn't handle the volumes Ford needed? This is a question that only Ford/ACII can answer.
