Hi John and Gottfried, thanks for your Ideas on how to out-wit the Kids. I'll think about them. If I have to do some purchases, it would be next year. My available cash now is just enough until the end of the year and to raise cash, I have to sell investments for a profit. I have already substancially withdrawn (with 10% penalties) from my IRA. The money I have gained in my NON-IRA account is much much higher than the 20K I originally thought. I guess the Tax Man will get a Bounty from me come tax time! I can't give more...
