I coach kids in the sixth and eighth grades (this year), both in baseball and basketball-- on the rec level. We have paid coaches for travel. Be forewarned that winning at the rec level is much easier since there are so many common flaws you can exploit. BTW, one of the eighth grade coaches for our town's girls is JN, the guy who called the Pats game with PS. A friend who knows him well says he often plays golf with TB and BB. (names abbreviated for privacy reasons)
