Obama in California needs Hispanic votes. That's his challenge. We'll see if he can overcome it. He will get some kind of boost from South Carolina, but then Super Tuesday stands as a monolith. It was put there to try and avoid close races going all the way to the convention, so usually whoever's ahead going into ST wins it all. Of course this is a very unusual year, even more so on the GOP side. Hillary is the closest to an incumbant that there is, Bill being obviously the co-president. Kind of weird, I know, but on the other hand, we sure do miss the 90's in terms of peace and prosperity.

I would probably prefer Obama, and definitely prefer Edwards or Gore, I want to see him prove himself a bit more. In short, if he can't beat Hillary, maybe he can't beat the GOP either. To me, this is all about winning in November, so let's see what Obama is made out of.
